I had a similar question to the vax response. If it makes me feel worse than you for instance, does that mean my immune system is working better, or that yours is working better? Is this even a relevant question? Also, my wife and I had similar symptoms, mine worse, but mine took about 24-36 hours longer to appear, but went away faster, does this say anything about the capabilities of our immune system? Also, while doubtful , is metabolism related?

My gf was saying harsher response may be a sign you were exposed to and/or already had the virus. I had a 101+ fever for two days on top of stiff neck, body aches and chills, etc.

Okay that makes more sense, I'll have to look into it more. Just seemed like everything that I saw was "omg he knew masks weren't effective the entire time" when really the emails say exactly what he was saying.

At the same time there still isn't much evidence at all and it would've incited a panic if we just accused China of using bioweapons. The "experts" continued to double down on this idea that locking down harder and harder would achieve better results. Clearly this was so far from the truth, they ruined peoples entire livelihoods based on pseudoscience and nothing happened to them. This was all premeditated so he could convince people to take a vaccine that will most definitely be very damaging to the population of the united states, even though this vaccine was developed and manufactured using the resources of multiple countries and governments, nearly all of which are allies that rely on the U.S. He and the rest of the elite worked with thousands of international and domestic health officials and workers to lie about the number of deaths to further mislead the populace. These health workers and officials are all part of this death cult, because as we have established so far, this vaccine is dangerous and WILL kill people, even though there is not evidence to support that. Those individuals have the highest rates of vaccinations, and many have accepted that they will die from the vaccine for the cause.
All of this was to reach their goal of...IDK? Making the previous president look stupid maybe? Although that president's largest claim in his last year was how great his vaccine operation was. You do know Ontario never dropped their mask mandate right? It had been enacted along with a pretty strict lockdown the entire winter and spring of 2021. Ontario never took off their masks. They had a high spike in March/ early April along with Michigan. Because Covid is a seasonal virus, we have very little control over how it spreads unless we literally welded people into their houses. People didn’t stop wearing masks then start wearing masks in Ontario one day causing the cases to drop. It literally became summer. So the fact that Ontario’s cases rose makes no sense in the first place if masks and lockdowns worked.
The vaccine helps a ton as well but there will continue to be seasonal spikes in Covid for a long time. They won’t be as severe but this upcoming winter don’t be surprised if case counts rise quite a bit.
Remember like 2 months ago they were telling us to double mask then randomly overnight not past any specific threshold number for vaccines with any plan the cdc just dropped everything. No more masks or social distancing for vaccinated in a blink of an eye?

The government has lied and misled the American People since the beginning when they first told us NOT to wear masks then suddenly flipped to putting some cloth on your face. The conservative narrative that Florida "crushed it" isn't really true. Compared to some states that had stricter lockdowns, there's not really a massive difference in outcomes.
Fact of the matter is, there was, and is, no "one size fits all" approach to COVID. Not really going to touch the governmental researching viruses because, well, that's not really surprising. There's a lot of research done on animal variants of viruses because that's often the easiest and safest way to examine them. To see a variant that can end up in humans isn't surprising. However, another major point of this research is to find out whether or not a zoonotic transfer could happen in the wild. For example, avian bird flu is a major concern for most countries and H1N1 is a zoonotic version of such a virus. Being able to study the animal variant can give governments a head start on potential cures.
First of all, as I've said MANY times in this thread, mRNA platforms have struggled to find targetable diseases. From its inception (2010) to 2017, Moderna focused on extremely complex therapeutic spaces, including cancer, metabolic diseases, and rare orphan diseases. Most, if not all, of these spaces resulted in preclinical failure. The only published data I can find is here.
That's not SUPER surprising for two reasons. First, Moderna was a private company until 2018 and never really needed to worry about publicity with the general public so there was no incentive to do so. Second, there is no law or standard that requires companies to publish failed preclinical data. Hell, there's no reason for them to publish failed data in general. This is common in the pharma and biotech space, a 2016 JAMA study found the following:
“The pivotal trial results were published in peer-reviewed journals for 138 of the 344 (40%) failed agents. Of 74 trials for agents that failed for commercial reasons, only 6 (8.1%) were published. Roughly half of investigational drugs entering late-stage clinical development fail during or after pivotal clinical trials, primarily because of concerns about safety, efficacy, or both. Results for the majority of studies of investigational drugs that fail are not published in peer-reviewed journals.”

Its not that they are researching viruses, its that scientists are actively mutating animal virus variants in a way to become infectious to humans:

Big IPO? Sana, a gene therapy company, raised $588mn from it's IPO with ZERO clinical data. AbCellera's IPO raised $483mn and up until a few months before only had deal and collaboration agreements with Big Pharma and DARPA. Part of that DARPA collaboration involved a COVID antibody treatment. Guess who went public soon after with just Phase I data.
Again, that STAT News article is focusing on Ph1 data, they've since released Phase II and Phase III results, with Phase III ending up in NEJM, the best journal besides JAMA.

Its great that its mostly low risk people left, but as long as its out there spreading around and mutating it could easily come back next year twice as deadly and contagious, and we've already seen various strains pop up around the world. You ask what more I could possibly want, and its for everyone that can safely take the vaccine to get it. Thats the only way to eradicate it and put this bullshit behind us. Hopefully we'll look back on covid the same way we think about Polio- an old disease that we were able to beat.
