Ok so I like wider medium-softer flex skis with a good bit of rise, more of a rounded tip tho. But heavy so their stable at speed. So in theory I could make a ski like 108-114width super soft but super heavy. Thick side walls and edges. Then I could the ultimate pow/jib/park ski for me. I think it’d be super fun Ik a guy with a press anyone know if I’d needs different press or just mold kinda thing for it?

ya you could drill some holes and fill them with lead or something, just don’t drill the whole way through

Maybe I can convince 4frnt to send me those for free since I got the Msp99s for free. Gotta do some good marketing turns on those and get some clips then hopefully I can

I’m not paying 1000-1200$ for custom on3p when my buddy’s good friend could probably make me them for half that. Or when I can use weights to make my marksman tips even softer and more rockered. Plus I just think square tips are kinda ugky

It’s my friends buddy. He mainly makes telemark specific skis it’s called oldgrowthskico. He made my friend a pair of skis that were a qst shape but with the core of a sakana

So I rode Jeffery 108's this year all season at Trollhaugen in WI. I love the skis to death, fat skis looks so cool to me and the Jeffery 108 is the king of cool for me. That being said, I'm switching back to the Magnus 102? Why? Sidecut mainly. The weight of a bigger ski isn't hard to manage for me whether it be in the park on rails, jumps or anywhere else. The M102 sidecut allows you to lean into the ski aggressively (especially switch) and it has the feeling like it's catching you, whereas the J108 is more of a "lean into the ski and it begins to rotate". Also keep in mind that by and large, ski companies are moving away from ultrawide skis because 100-110 is plenty for even the deepest powder (Speaking from what I've read in regard to powder because I live in the midwest currently) and anything wider is just a lot harder on your knees. So comparing a M102 to a faction, reckoner, blend, b dog, etc I would always choose the m102 because of durability, supporting a dope company and overall versatility. If you've never ridden an ON3P it's a little bit stiffer but the rocker profile allows it to feel super playful while still engaging the whole ski for grip when you roll it over on edge. These are only my thoughts and opinions since you asked.
