Whats up NS, i just got some new look pivot 15s in the gold color-way for a steal. Got them brand new for $265 which is huge. I am thinking of getting the new K2 poachers for the upcoming season. I have ridden FKS pivot 12s, and 14s, but Ive never used the 15s or 18s which consist of the aluminum toe piece. I have heard reviews on the poachers and have also seen a lot of people use them in the park. Overall they seem extremely durable and I want to try something a little wider underfoot as I am currently on the ARV 86s. Despite a lot of great reviews on the poachers, I have also heard that they are somewhat heavy compared to other skis. Not sure if anyone has ridden a poacher/pivot set up, but i was just curious as to how the weight combo is on feet as I know the pivot 15s and up are quite heavy. Also how is the aluminum toe piece for anyone that has rocked the 15s or 18s in the past?

Birk Irving does. I find k2s factory team skis are on the heavier side but ski rly well. Poachers are pretty poppy and with some effort will butter nicely

The weight difference between the 12/14 and 15/18 toe-pieces is unnoticeable.
