Bdog as first park ski?

I recently got into park halfway into the ski season, i can do 1s and 3s with safety and mute, I also landed one 540 at the end of the season. I am 5’2 and 98 pounds so I am pretty light, I know that the bdogs are pretty soft but I thought since I don’t weigh that much I could be fine I plan on skiing 90/10 (park/all mountain) next season, I also ski east coast. Would the bdog be fine, I was also considering the blend that I know are very soft, but since I don’t weigh much, could these also be an option? Let me know your opinions.

I like to ski jumps mostly causes i can’t really do rails yet but I plan on learning them next season, I ski Blue Mountain Pennsylvania every weekend but I got to Vermont around 15 times a year. I like to ski the actual park not natural features. I ski the most park.

then why does powder matter? No ski is going to be perfect at everything...

Look into the Reckoner 102 of you’re so concerned about skiing pow in the east coast and park all with one ski, or the Jeffery 102 or revolt 104

If your good enough anything can ski in powder. Obviously it won’t be a fun in pow as something like wildcat 108 or nomad 115 but you don’t need a pow ski if your in Pennsylvania dude

Both blends and bdogs suck at powder because they are ment for park. If you want to learn tricks and still are new to park don't get blends. They are wierd compared to any other ski i've had and as the tips are so soft they suck for learning tricks as you have to stomp everything to avoid washing out over the tips.
bdogs are more 'normal' park skis so i'd recommend those.
but again, they both suck at pow

I’ve only ridden the old blend shape, but they did fairly well in up to a foot of powder. I think they were originally designed as a hybrid park/pow ski which is why they named it the Blend.

regardless the chronics will feel fine for you in pensylvania pow compared to "shitty 70mm skis",

You are going to be fine on chronics for the odd powder day here and there. You are overthinking it. If it’s really that much powder, you will want a different ski entirely. You’re looking too much for a “one trick pony”. I don’t think the Chronics dive THAT bad. You just have to keep speed up and lean a tad back on your tails

I’m not 12 I’m 14! 😂 well I’m 37 and 7/8 , try blister reviews, and educating yourself on how a skis profile and dimensions affect how it skis, take into account how and where you ski, and make your choice, none of us can tell you what’s best but we can get you close, as I said previously, think the chronic would be a great ski, it’s easy to ski but no noodle, got pop, great lightweight introductory to advanced park ski, but as YOU pointed out, it nose dives in pow, it’s “FUN” all over the mountain in a range of conditions, if your in an area that gets frequent snow, consider the RMU Rippah, if you want a stiffer park ski look at the TWP, if you want a heavier, damper ski look at a Magnus,arv, menace, Jeffrey

No ski is going to work for everything, and believe me when I say, it's very easy to get bogged down deliberating between loads of skis, thinking that there's a perfect ski that'll do everything perfectly. (I recently ended a 9 month long deliberation between some of the skis you've been talking about.)

Seriously tho, make a descision. Yes, BDOGs would be a good beginner park ski. If you are going to be skiing all-mountain however I would definitely go with the Chronics

Ya take it easy on the guy, I started here making some repeat threads, not like in that screenshot up there holyphuck that looked like a girls phone that just dumped someone and was getting beggar calls 😂 but for people just starting it can be overwhelming, for those of us a little deeper in, even with a nice quiver, I still overthink it, I’ve been overthinking my praxis ski for weeks now, sales gonna be over by the time I make up my friggin mind.
Just take a deep breath spend some time learning like I said above OP, next seasons months away so you have time, good deals on evo , powder7, Corbett’s and other places will be going til September.

Lmao it’s not bullying homie. My first pair of blends lasted 4 years and every single person I know says they’re shit skis. Plain and simple, sticks will hold up for you because you don’t hit rails yet. Once that time comes, you’ll b blowing thru skis with the rest of us

People aren't bullying you, they are simply just trying to tell you to buy a ski already, it isn't a life or death decision. I am sure you will be happy with whichever ski you get given you have put over 6 months of "research" into it. You don't need a 120mm waist to ski vt, 20 years ago 96mm was a super fat powder ski and people made it work. For the first 3/4 of the 20th century people were sending backcountry shit on 70mm straight skis in leather boots (until the mid 60's when plastic boots came out)... You'll be fine.
