CeleryDude, you’ve made multiple threads about this topic. I thought you ordered the chronics.
Frenchmayo1287Nah turns out they suck ass in powder
WoFlowzCan you give us some info on what you like to ski and ski the most. Like locations, natural features or lines etc?
Frenchmayo1287I like to ski jumps mostly causes i can’t really do rails yet but I plan on learning them next season, I ski Blue Mountain Pennsylvania every weekend but I got to Vermont around 15 times a year. I like to ski the actual park not natural features. I ski the most park.
vishnusidelipperthen why does powder matter? No ski is going to be perfect at everything...
Frenchmayo1287Cause last season I had a dozen powder day in Vermont and I had shitty 70 mm skis
vishnusidelipperchronis are 96 underfoot and bdogs are 94 underfoot
Frenchmayo1287Bro the underfoot isn’t the only thing that matters, the chronics new shape causes it to nosedive as a whore in powder
WoFlowzLook into the Reckoner 102 of you’re so concerned about skiing pow in the east coast and park all with one ski, or the Jeffery 102 or revolt 104

migidimigiSo you never ski powder and want park skis but don't buy park skis 'cause you maybe might ski powder for a week...? XD
Both blends and bdogs suck at powder because they are ment for park. If you want to learn tricks and still are new to park don't get blends. They are wierd compared to any other ski i've had and as the tips are so soft they suck for learning tricks as you have to stomp everything to avoid washing out over the tips.
bdogs are more 'normal' park skis so i'd recommend those.
but again, they both suck at pow

CeleryI’ve only ridden the old blend shape, but they did fairly well in up to a foot of powder. I think they were originally designed as a hybrid park/pow ski which is why they named it the Blend.

migidimigiI have the new ones and they are pure park skis. Super low tips and tails so they just sink even in spring slush

CatdickBojanglesSo I guess next years ON3Ps weren’t good then since you aren’t getting them?
SessionHmmmmm...mine are.
CatdickBojanglesNot good enough for this 14 year old apparently.
Vincent.CrudoWhat WoFlowz said. Reckoner is by far the best ski on the market for its price, def get those
rojo.grandeHonestly this is not what I’ve heard from people with reckoners on their feet. Every single person I’ve asked about them has said they don’t hold up for as long as expected.
OP, For your ability level don’t worry about them holding up or whatever, reckoners would b a sick first park ski (and do all ski)
Frenchmayo1287Well, I just got bullied in this thread
