Is Siver Voll a rail wizard?

I consider rail wizards to be guys like LJ Strenio who are just waaaaay to good at rails. Is it safe to say that Siver Voll should be deemed as one these mythical creatures? Watch ON3P 4 or take a peek at his insta for reference

IMO he's one of the guys who can spin super fast without it looking like garbage but of course his style is better with slower spins.

You could argue Siver is on the same level as a rail skier as LJ. Name a trick LJ has that Siver doesn't besides ridiculous wizard tricks. As far as consistency you need a competition to determine this as you see how good someone is when the pressure is on. Watching LJ at rails to riches was insane seeing him stomp almost every trick first try. The only time I remember seeing Siver in a rail jam was at the Seven springs jam put on by Tom wallisch/ I can't remember the name. I thought he laced some pretty crazy tricks and was consistent but I'll have to re watch it. Siver really needs to get in the streets to be able to compare himself with guys like LJ but as far as technicality and difficulty he's there and his style is dope. That being said LJ was a pioneer as far as rail skiing goes.

Yeah but i think hes less creative cause lj and alot of the line tc/rfcs guys have some wacky ass setups and do all kinds of stuff siver is just super technical like he doesnt most stuff on just normal rails and tubes

I mean I really can’t think of anyone doing techier stuff w more style.... yes some of the mega feds to 8 out are pencil steeze, but there’s simply no other way to get that around.
You can barely keep up naming his combos, and he’s undeniably steezy, idc what anyone says about it being “hucked” he’s dialed AF both for style and difficulty

Yeah I’ll agree that slower spins often have more style, but the fact that he can also spin so fast shows that he’s a wizard

guys with on par style who you don’t see do massive spins, not as wizardy

Well, I’d agree with LJ being better overall at rails than Siver but I think Siver is better at doing a million tricks on the same rail.

Besides wizard tricks and ridiculous bullshit that ones only going to do on a traveling circus setup lets hear what LJ has that Siver doesn't. Keep in mind I already said Siver isn't in the streets so don't bring that into the discussion as I already mentioned that and this also excludes jumps as this whole discussion is based on rails. LJ has big spins on like 6 on etc but the most tech rails tricks he's got are like front swap continuing 3 swap pretz 2/4 or maybe 4 pretzel 4, and or 2 pretz 6 which Siver can easily do. Go look for LJ's most technical rail tricks and compare them to Siver, then get back to me.

He got hired to do stunts in a vin diesel movie which meant skiing in the middle of a jungle dressed as vin diesel. I remember reading this long-ass article he wrote documenting the whole thing with all the stunts and video. If anyone has the link that would be appreciated

When you try and compare guys who ski Lines in the backcountry vs those that huck themselves off cliffs it's quite simple that their two different style of skiers. Same here with Siver and LJ. Siver is as technical on rails as LJ he just hasn't skied street. There's also perfectly good reason for this as it's not 2010 and Nobody gets paid to Fucking ski anymore. Who even makes ski movies anymore besides TGR nevermind ones that include urban. Everything LJ filmed in the streets was pretty much with Level 1 and a bit of stuff with Good Company. Obviously he has shots with Traveling Circus but those weren't for a movie but a webisode series. When Siver can get a crew including a production company to back him putting out a street part then will see it done. Siver had shots in the ON3P movies which I guarantee had no budget and he probably had to get himself to the states. On top of this LJ made really good money from rail jams which don't exist anymore such as Rails to Riches, War of Rails etc. whenever he showed up to Rails to Riches he was money in the bank so he could count on $5,000 to use for traveling/filming for his season. The only way Siver has any chance of making any money is if he gets in X Games real street which he would have serious potential. That being said I find it funny people want to immediately bring up all of LJ's urban shots and compare them to Siver's shots that are in the park; It's apples to oranges. Also Line was def giving the guys in the Traveling Circus a travel budget So LJ was also able to use that as well.

You're argument is invalid since Siver doesn't ski with the bunch and he actually does extremely difficult and technical rail tricks while having some of the sickest style in the game. I understand your argument when it comes to the Bunch as most of them hit extremely low consequence and stupid features while just jumping around like idiots. Watch the illusive at 3:45 and try and tell me that's not smooth, though I know its not a super tech rail. The problem with this project is everyone's shots are together and not split up by rider so you can't watch just Siver shots at once; you gotta pick through some of the other sub par skiing.

Hopefully more people will be talking like this as I would rather people have an opinion and post about it then say nothing. Did you not see the last bunch movie that came out? Half the shots were filler shots; without Hackel the movie would be hard to get through. If they got Siver in their movie it would change the majority of people's opinion. Why are most of them including magnus still hopping around on rails shorter than 8ft waving their hands around all over the place with no control. Watch the movie I posted above and look at Siver's shots; there is a world of difference between Siver and the bunch.
