weastcoastIdk whatchall think?
Julian0COVID causes prices to rise in general, we are lucky to be getting new skis in the first place. Look at the car industry rn
WoFlowzWait till you hear about the bike industry
MaimHelpIt’s pissing me off bad. I’m stuck with an entry level hard tail cause I can’t find any nicer trail bikes for good deals like I was before covid

ski_salmon69your best bet is to buy used but even that is difficult because bikes are so in demand so people think they can jack up the price way high

WoFlowzBest to buy used but the polygon vander is a great budget trail bike and it’s available rn
Julian0130 travel makes me want to kms tho
WoFlowzMeh IMO I’d rather have less than more. More poppy and playful. But to each their own. Atleast it’s available rn and not back ordered till next summer. I was just tryna give you an affordable available recommendation
CatdickBojanglesJust bought a new truck and it was insane how few cars are on lots right now. Its gotten to the point where dealerships are paying out the ass for trades just to have vehicles in stock. There is massive chip shortage that is hurting just about every industry right now too.
Skiglizzy659Might have more to do with the us government handing out money to everyone while printing it out of their ass as fast as possible causing inflation that is about to hit us but that’s just my thoughts I’m no genius
BradFiAusNzCoCaThat explains why every Subaru dealership I’ve ever had a service at is spamming me about trading in my car

lilpremehomie getting downvoted but hes right, fed is printing out its ass and praying that it works out in the end. when history clearly shows it wont.
SofaKingSickhe's not right though, he said it has "more to do with" inflation and that's incorrect, it's the supply chain issues going on for the past year. you don't need to find a way to inject your political beliefs and rants into this
Skiglizzy659I agree it also has to do with supply chain issues but those don’t have a huge effect on ski resorts. Although resorts do have some inputs to buy, most of their expenses are salaries, advertising and snowmaking/electricity which have very little correlation with the supply chain since they are not actually buying anything. Our government is printing more money than it has ever before and for those of us who don’t understand economics when there are more dollars out there, the ones you currently have are now worth less so prices increase in the future in order to make up for the loss in value of the dollar. Supply chain issues increase costs right now but inflation increases costs in the future which is what the issue is. Don’t want to be political about this more just interested in how finance and economics ties back to the ski industry.
