Dedicating this thread to a true homie. Been frantically trying to find a pair of Icelantic DaNollies for MONTHS, non stop. Day and night. Surfing BST, snow share, and FB Marketplace like a mad man. All of a sudden, @skierman_jack hits my PM and offers me his 180 DaNollies for a low, homie price, after I’ve bugged him way too many times on selling them. My man Jack said he was only letting them go because he knew how much I would enjoy them, and I couldn’t be more stoked to try these bad boys out this weekend in the fridge. A TRUE HOMIE.
They’re fun. I tried nomads for a run last season and they were really fun to butter around on, much more easier than Vishnus since the noses are so flared up. Only

Yeah fr 600-700 for a pair of skis that I’m just gonna trash in a year?? No way haha

My only complaint about buying used is not the edge wear, but the additional holes in a ski can fuck some shit up. When I mounted the DaNollies the old holes were too close so I had to move my mounting size down to 285mm bsl and now I have to push my heel pieces back a cm on my pivots. Actually brings the grand total to half a cm back from center and I don’t feel like dealing with non centered park skis, or skis that I can’t throw heli coils in at any point cause the holes are too close together.
Fr tho I only buy used anymore. I’d rather spend 150-300 on skis and finish them off than ruin a perfect pair of skis being a dumbass. Either way I only get one season and it’s less wasteful and saves me money

If you epoxy the skis a lot and don’t mind skiing without edges you can get up to 3 seasons on skis haha. I have yet to retire a pair of my V’s because they were too beat. The pair of watercolor V’s I have I bought off one of the team riders that they used for like 2 seasons, they probably have 250 days on them at this point. I used them all season and they’re still perfectly rideable, no water in the core at all. Best part about it is I bought them for 100 bucks.
