I don’t know your level of expertise, OP, but pivots are definitely NOT easy to put on in powder. They’re actually a bitch and a half when you have snow on your boot.
I would echo what @BigPurpleSkiSuit said with the STHs or maybe some attacks. They work well in powder and they’re easier to put on in powder. There’s a guy in B/S/T selling attack 13s in a 130 for $130 with shipping. That’s a good deal.

Pivots are great bindings but not if your ski comes off.

I love my attacks, but I have definitely felt more secure in my STH16s both in terms of binding releasing and not prereleasing.

I was joking, I actually bring a drill and a pair of attacks on pow days so I can just remount if my skis come off in powder

Thanks for the thoughts y’all! Yeah I think it’s between the STH and the Attack. I’ve owned both and feel like STH is probably a little more high quality, but ashamed to say that sometimes I’m a sucker for being able to choose the color when it comes to Attacks. Just impulsively pulled the trigger on a new powder ski that went on sale. I guess I got time to figure out bindings before the snow starts falling again though.

To me the STH and the Attack are pretty interchangeable. I skied purely STH's for a decade, and now I'm all about Attacks. Price is good, performance has been great, and colors...

Yeah they’re my go to but I kinda want to experience this dampness and elasticity people talk about with the STH. They will be on, what will probably end up being, my daily driver

The skis are Lib Tech Wreckreate 102s. I had some attacks lined up for them but ended up picking up some Deviation works Mode 112s (that one was maybe a little impulsive but I got a really good deal) and I think the attacks will work better for them given the 110 brake and 112 waist. So now I need bindings for the Lib techs.

The pescados will be really fun

Attack 16s or 13s?

I have a pair of Attack 16 AT and while they are tall(the AT part) and heavy they are solid. I picked up some 13s at corbetts for $150 CAD, not sure if the have 130 brakes available at that price.

OP what ski did you get? I'm imagining the 130 attack brakes are super wide considering the width of the other narrower brakes.

any bindings will work - anyway you need to clean your boot from ice and snow every time to avoid unwanted release
