It's late april, there's no snow left on the mountain and you see him: the sexiest guy of the resort, the pussydestroyer par excellence, the true og. With his full rockered 131mm underfoot pure powder ski, he's now ready to carve the best GS turns of his life on the warmest and wettest spring slush of the past 1000 years. Homies and homiettes: the no snow fat ski guy.

Mine are insanely fat but I feel like 106 as a daily park ski in the east is pretty wide. But if you’ve got some cheap decent condition catamarans hit me up xoxo 😘

Yah that’s not fat, think the industry calls it mid fat, I have spent most my time on the east coast, and my dailies are a 98, spend a lotta time on 108s and while yah a narrower ski can perform better out here , 106 is by no means fat

My daily is 112, 106 is only considered wide by jerry fuckheads who ski the M5 or the QST 92

at a certain point a ski is too fat.

theres a goldilox zone. Some ppl like fatter than others but i doubt many ppl would prefer a 130 mm ski in normal snow conditions, let alone spring conditions, unless they were idiots.

On a icy tiny east coast hill with 600ft of vert. You must be packing. I ski marksman so not quite the trail clone with qsts

I mean I agree with the width comment but fat skis are well suited for slush in my opinion idk what everyone is talking about in this thread with the spring conditions

slush is quite fun with 95mm+ skis.

I use from 60 to 120+ depending on snow and where/what I ski.

the wide(not alwys) light & floppy skis with shitty touring bindings & shitty boots always gets me... WHY WOULD YOU SKI THAT SHIT IN THE RESORT, and without a backpack and no skins, bitch please. Id rather ski a wide ski all day every day, than that light touring shit.

after lunch on sunday I grabbed my M102, 191cm, very few people, and everything from straight ice to piles of wet snow in a run, such a good ski, freshly waxed so was actually fast on the wet snow as well! ohhhh yes, slush piles big enough to use as jumps all the way down, only conditions the M102 might be classed as "fun" and "playful" but damn just basic stuff like aproper shifty on thoose is heavy. each ski with binding is almost 4KG, + 2.5KG boots.

fat skis are the best for slushy snow. Slush is still snow so the title should be slushy snow fat ski guy.

If it was the day after rain and the temps dropped below 0 and the guy was still on fat skis thats a whole another level of that guy.

There’s a guy that rides at bachelor that’s been on hellbents everyday this season.....it has snowed maybe 10 Inches since the beginning of March here and I see him first thing in the morning when the mountain is still a sheet of ice

I’ve never seen a Vishnu in person , but I’ve seen shitty, un balanced , must have had severe damage to the equilibrium, one leg longer than the other, cross eyed Oakley sportin jerries on everything from on3p to friggin stockli, moments the only ski I’ve never seen on a jerry, and of course enforcers those are rare and only for the best
