Powder Basket replacement

As you know, powder baskets probably have the most impact on your performance in the park, piste, and backcountry. Choosing the wrong size from the basket quiver each morning will make or break the day.
has anyone had success replacing powder baskets on poles with other brands or should I just buy new poles? I really like my bent chetler telescoping poles but the baskets are way too small, one keeps knocking loose, and I can’t find replacements online that I am confident in purchasing. Someone please point me towards replacement knowledge.

I've never heard of baskets not being compatible between brands. It's really easy to replace them too. If there's a shop near you, just go in and see if they have replacement powder baskets. I would find a beater set of poles in a lost and found or on the mountain, or buy a cheap pair to use when you don't need the telescoping ones, so if you break them in the park or something its not the expensive telescopic ones that break.

In my experience I've had good luck interchanging Black Diamond, K2, and Atomic baskets, so you should be able to use baskets from any of those brands on your poles. If you want to only run pow baskets, you can also epoxy them on, should hold them securely forever.
