What would be a better ski for a 130cm lightweight new to any athletics kid to learn on with no experience, we’re adding my friends youngest to our crew this year and I’m no good at teaching kids or knowing what’s best order for them to learn skiing , I literally started on blacks, developed bad habits I had to correct etc.
I’m gonna get this kid skis, they can’t exactly afford rentals, passes the works ya know, and my son outgrew his 2yr old gear so there’s that.
I’m looking at these skis but am totally open to any advice, looking for suggestions how to motivate them w/o being pushy, I always just let my son tell me what we’re doing, they’re both 10, also advice on dividing their mountain time between ski lessons, playing and other activities, skiing will be east coast groomers with a trip out west as well. Finally, PARENTS , any friggin tips on complying with school attendance and still getting the kids out midweek? I actually almost got in trouble this year maxed out his vacation days, sick days and then some
