Frenchmayo1287I am 5’4 and 110 pounds and live on the east coast. Every weekend I go skiing in the pocono mountains mostly blue mountain, I also go up to Vermont at Okemo a couple times a season. I am a beginner park skier , I don’t know how to do rails yet but I want to learn them next season I can 180 safety and mute and 360 mute on bigger jumps, I landed a 540 on the closing day at my station. I plan on skiing 90/10 park/all mountain, when I am not at the park I like to ski aggressively, I also want a ski on the softer side since I am a bit under weight for my height. Which ski would fit me best between On3p Magnus 102 vs Line Blend vs Line Chronic Vs J skis allplay.
timdrachanI love my magnus's but they can be tough to handle sometimes on the east coast, not to mention because of the extreme rocker it makes riding away from tricks on rails just that much harder. I would go with the ARV 86 ngl.
h3nry.I have the all plays and they are a great park ski but they also do well not in the park. Personally, I would not buy any skis from line because I have seen them delam or lose an entire edge underfoot in under 1 season.
Frenchmayo1287So would the Magnus be the best option because i m considering magnus or chronics do you also know which one is stiffer and which one is softer.
CatdickBojanglesMagnus are stiff. They are not a soft ski. The rocker makes them buttery. I would not recommend magnus for a beginner at all.

Frenchmayo1287The arv is a too stiff tho
RyanWhitdogARVs are not that stiff man watch Henrik he’s been riding them
vishnusidelippernot to mention they are fairly expensive for someone barely starting park whatsoever.
If you end up not skiing a lot of park or don't enjoy it a ton, they aren't gonna impress you whatsoever anywhere else. They are purely park skiers, and coming from a racing background you won't be able to carve them easily on groomers until you get used to the heavy detune. I'd recommend the chronic over the magnus for you, the chronics are softer and will do better on groomer/allmountain, the magnus will excel on rails but be weaker on groomers/ice coast snow.
CatdickBojanglesThey were all stiffened up for this year, so they are very stiff.

RyanWhitdogThey did? So the 2021s are stiffer? I rode some 2020s this year and I thought they were pretty playful. Similar situation too a friend of mine got 2020 ARV 86s 177 for his first year in the park and they were a perfect fit for learning everything so far
