How Does Audi Nines Work

So it seems like they announce a select amount of invited riders on their socials, but then there are always a bunch more people there. Anyone know how it actually works, who gets invited, why some people are listed and some aren't?

There's a wildcard entry they usually put out on social. First person to find phone number in Level 1 calendar and give em a ring usually gets an in.
