In eastern canada you gotta take what you can get, but the worst resort i have been to is Vorlage. No park, chairs from the mesazoic era and their caf gave me food poisining on several occations
Honestly Kissingbridge in WNY parks were shit everytime but once. On a good year have maybe 20 runs open of 50 and their only 2 chairs that run at night go snails pace. It shouldn’t take 10minutes to get up 400ft of vert
I live in mn and ive never really gone out of state but the one i hate the most is buck hill i made a big rant about it a while back but i just hate that place
lmao yes and no. a lot of vail resorts in colorado have such good terrain. take for example beaver creek. yes it’s stuck up and expensive, but the stone creek chutes and royal elk glade are unreal, pow day or not. well I don’t love what vail is doing to the industry, I have to admit that they have some really good terrain

Buck hill is the worst place I’ve been. It was $60+ for one day and the parks weren’t even that great. I heard that they used to be good but you could hit 2-3 features before riding the slowest rope I have ever ridden that would stop when too many people were on it
I've heard Stowe has some of the best terrain in the east. Wildcat is dope, Crotched is eh. Sunapee has always had a fun park but I hear Vail downsized it this year which sucks. Mt Snow has a sick park but haven't been there in a while so idk if Vail has nerfed their parks much. Haven't really skied the others.
300M vert, West facing (gets wind blown) AND in a rain shadow. Nobody skis there and I'm pretty sure it only exists because of the hot spring. Sure, it's got more vert than the mid west, but the skiing is poop.
yeah idk who looked at that lil hill and was like lets put a ski hill here!! they got fired
Drail

freestyler540Ben Eoin, nova scotia is a heap. But I heard the experience was great.
But if I have to hate a ski resort: Mt Saint-Sauveur, Montreal. The terrain sucks, the people suck...just everything is terrible.
I drove 2h to get there early season thinking it was similar to tremblant...nope. Anus terrain, the hill is flat as shit and maybe the worst mask policy I’ve ever seen. Shocked I didn’t get corona.
nakiska just has longer lifts. ive just skied pretty much every skiable inch of norquay in and out of bounds and there just isnt good jumps anywhere and everything turns to moguls so fast which isnt a bad thing but not the most fun
what is it u like about norquay more than nakiska?
flavourtownNakiska sucks way more than the quay, norquay still doesnt compare to louise or sunshine but definitely not the "worst"

I rode nakiska once and it had way too many people for the hill and seemed to get almost no snow because it was in the shadow of the Rockies. To see a resort in western Canada with snowmakers every 20 ft down all the runs was just depressing
Norquay’s park is much better than “najibska” or whatever they call the nakiska park. It’s not like norquays park is crazy good but they have some fun features and usually a jump or 2 while since nakiska is RCR there aren’t any jumps in the park.
Terrain wise yeah I would say they are pretty equal though

Yeah it does seem like it is quite busy given the quality of the hill and the crowd gears towards ski racers and beginners

yeah, it is a little busy for quality of skiing, but the nice thing about everyone being ski racers and beginners at both hills is that u have the trees and park all to yourself. also having to buy a park pass is dumb at nakiska. and nakiska takes sooo friggen long to build their crappy park
there was literally a single tiny jump in norquays park this year it was pathetic. would be sweet if u lived in banff tho
and yeah its pretty sad both hills make like 80% percent of their snow in western canada

Yeah I kinda think of norquay as banff's COP, like the best thing about it is that it is close by.
EdensDemiseCaberfae is a solid hill for Michigan but the park is absolute shit
Park is hilariously bad. Would be better if there was none at all. Love the hill tough, best value lift ticket in the atate hands down and the fries smack.

Yeah it’s definitely a fun hill other than the park.
Pine Knob is still the best park and fries in Michigan though
