The way i look at it is most thieves are poor. So you can at least take comfort in a chicken and egg kind of way to think maybe they are poor because they stole your shit.

I don’t blame resorts, I blame individuals for sure, but it would be nice to get some help from resorts such as more ski lockup’s all over would be really nice ,outside bathrooms, resteraunts, etc, should be free but hell I’ll pay, more secure and monitored parking. I don’t expect them too, and I don’t think they’re responsible but it would be nice for the whole ski resort business to realize it’s a problem no matter how few are affected and make it easier. Fumbling with locks etc is only a deterrent, if they had lockers everywhere with rfid, credit slot, cash slot that would be convenient, even if it’s not free it would be nice to have the option.
