Anyone got any ideas suggestions for how I could build a backyard setup.
concrete area is about 14 ft and the turf is 17.5 ft + there is like 20 feet of brick behind the concrete
I was thinking of just building the ramp on the concrete part and then a 10 ft rail on the start of the grass. Is that even worth it / enough area to land? If you got any ideas hit me up
could easily take down the basketball hoop as well
A drop in is going to be 5-10 feet long, you will need probably 10 ft or so after your drop in before the rail and the rail is another 10ish feet long. After the rail you will also need some room for a landing so I would say that it would be 35ish feet long at a minimum. I think it’s probably doable but it’s gonna be tight with your setup

Lay down the basketball hoop/pole on the concrete, build your ramp to it and use the turf for your end run. Simple set up and you can flip the hoop back up and play some B-ball when you want.

Build the ramp on bricks. Lay down the Bball pole, remove the backboard so the pole becomes your rail. You won’t even touch the concrete unless you slide off the pole. Side the rail to the turf.

did this end up working out? looks really tight. maybe if you used something like a treadmill or a tiny tow rope to get speed there would be more room for rails.
