Are my new skis too small?

Hey so I recently bought new skis (haven’t received em yet) and the two sizes they had left were 183 and 177. The last paire I had were 178 and I really enjoyed them, they had a nice flex and were pretty good so I told myself that 1cm difference was not the end of the world but now looking at skiiing videos I feel like I might of taken them to small. I just started doing more freestyle and am really look forward to learning more as I can almost land my 360. Also was told that a bigger ski would of just been more stable when landing but besides that it won’t change much so If anybody could give me more light on that it would be really nice :) . Btw I’m 6’0-6’1

If you where more comfortable with that kind of size you should be fine you probably won’t even notice the difference.

It is all about being happy, if you were happy on your old 177s then sounds like you will be happy on your new 178 assuming they are similar style skis. Don’t worry about what you see in ski videos.

If ur 6 foot you couldve gone for 183 but if you liked 178 177 is fine

either one is fine, go with your gut. did you ever wish the old ones were longer or had more stability? what skill level are you?
sounds like 177 is the ticket here for you. don't overthink a 5cm difference too much

Honestly as long as your enjoying the skis, and you dont wish they were longer then youl be good. Plus most people that are still progressing in the park dont have above head skis
