Replying to Why do obsessed people use different words for their obsessions?

normal people call movies movies. people obsessed with movies call them films.
normal people call lego lego. people obsessed with lego call it bricks.
normal people call guns guns. people obsessed with guns call them firearms.
why are obsessed people so autistic and have to use special words for their hobby? i think the only sane people are skiers cause we literally just call it skiing, just like anyone else.
