Why does everyone get so worked up about whether or not pineapple specifically "belongs" on pizza? No one cares if someone does or doesn't like black olives or green peppers on their pizza. Hamburger vs sausage? Eh to each their own. But as soon as pineapple is mentioned, everyone's jimmies are rustled.

People bitch and moan because they find they are empty inside and need any kind of social outlet to prove their own existence. That or they completely lack personality or individuality and are just mirroring the behavior of others. Same reason people bitch about consoles, truck brands, smart phones, computers, sports teams, religions etc.


Btw I like Hawaiian but a lot of cheaper pizza places use shit quality ham so I usually order pineapple and bacon.

Long ago there was a tribe called quest in Hawaii. They ate much pineapple. One night they were awoken by a warm inviting smell. It was pizza, just sitting in the woods. Many pizzas actually, you might even say a whole family. The tribe went back to sleep, but the pineapple followed this smell. The pineapple walked and walked and walked until it reached this tantalizing pizza. Then the pineapple consensually screwed the pizza mom, and ruined the family. That’s why there shouldn’t be pineapple on pizza. Because pineapple wrecks pizza family’s, pizza communities, and whole damn pizza society’s. Pineapple should stay the fuck away from pizza

Every other pizza topping lends itself to savory food. Pineapple doesn't. If you like it that's chill, but dont pretend that people being surprised you like it isn't normal

I had one in Italy that was a cheese pizza topped with french fries, it was amazing and disgusting at the same time

also anchovies are low-key underrated, only if they are fresh caught tho, any of the canned ones are trash so avoid unless you're by the sea
