pissnu_skisAfter high school I think I’m gonna go live out in slc. Any jobs that would take a midwest rat like me this august/September?
NotaskibumNo jobs in SLC, none zero.
Utah has a 3% unemployment rate. Probably could find work basically anywhere.
Depends on what you want to do.
pissnu_skisWell I was thinking of working at a ski shop or something. Make enough to ski and pay for rent/ other expenses.

TRVP_ANGELtaco bells so you can shit in the beans
HypeBeastTbh in this climate you're gonna struggle. Especially with what sounds like no experience in any trade or sector?
Some options:
-Learn a trade in a year or two and then move. Probably the best bet. Since ur not even thinking about college I think this would be a decent idea and not a huge waste of money like a useless 4 year degree in partying would be.
-Have roommates. Much easier to survive on a shitty job if your rent is split multiple ways.
-Have a savings built up so start now. This should cover 3-6months of expenses. Most people don't have this so when covid happened, they learned the hard way.
-Work at a fast food joint or a store of some sort. Eventually work your way up to better positions within the business. Not like it used to be but still possible.
Either way plan ahead
Jerry.at.tricksMy ex girlfriend lives and works outta SLC. She works for the forest service. She says they are always hiring. I’d give you her number, but she’s a cheating piece of shit so it shouldn’t be too hard for you to get it from her yourself.
AbiHOhhhhh dang. You good bro?
iFlipWorking at a ski shop will not be full time. They almost certainly won’t hire you full time due to different regulations/tax structures/other reasons. They will keep you at around 30 hours or less a week. This will not be enough to cover rent/food/expenses/lift tickets unless you dip into your trust fund.
SFBv420.0the amount of ill-informed bullshit you spew is sad
we have 4 shops and an online fullfilment center in the satch and employ fulltime employees in all of them
