Because I’m #toocoreforjetskis I’m rocking my Big Horn 106 in a 187 and a Crushin Cans in a 181. Also have my old black crows nocta in a 178 (before they changed them to reverse camber which was such a terrible deviation from the OG ski), my super old but still with fully intact edges CT 1.0 and my LTD Prodigy 2.0. None of them have bindings except for the Sego, gonna add a Pivot 14 to the ON3Ps and will likely add a Moment ski with a tech binding as well. Stoked for the season!
-eREKTion-Having a hard time finding info on the mount point/weight of the 108. It looks sick, man.
definitely has a pretty directional mount point, as it should. I've only ridden the demo pair til now, my personal pair will be coming soon and I may or may not bump it forward a cm, just for a wee bit more tail.

At 6' 175lbs I usually go high 180's up to 190cm for my skis, but after seeing the radius of the 182cm is only .3m different, figured I'd give it a shot.
Figured I should get some sort of pic, I call it "fun corner". Only missing my Hellbents, and I still may add a Revolt 121 or Bent 120 for a wider pow ski.
took me a couple minutes to realize the last line of each meant the bikes😂 i was counting the pairs of skis numerous times like wtf is he talking about

Same lol
Im always interested in Indy brands and I was like “oohhh I’ve never heard of Rocky Mountain instinct!” 😂

Curious about the choice to go with a pike and a coil? Rather than say a lyrik or zeb?

I’m more of a trail rider and most of
my rides are long. The lyrik and zeb are overkill for my needs and honestly, the pike is such an underrated fork in terms of stiffness. Unless you’re riding bike park a lot or always riding somewhere like Moab, a pike is all you need. As for the coil, it’s the inline cane creek which isn’t nearly as burly as the full double barrel, so is meant more for trail riding. I prefer the feel of a coil and it’s actually only about 150g more than an air shock which is quite impressive.

How’s the coil on a trail bike feel? Ik the instinct is 150/140. And the bike I’ll probably end up getting a coil for is 130/130 but imma throw a 140mm pike on it next summer. And was thinking a coil would feel nice since the suspension is quite progressive for a trail bike.

I suppose it’s not much different than a later travel bike, but it won’t feel quite as bottomless. Although, I only bottomed it out enough to feel the bump stop maybe a few times. It’s truly amazing what modern linkage has done to how bikes handle hits.

Makes sense. I ride a lot of park and have never rode a pike before so I was just curious, the coil threw me off hahahahah nice rig though, definitely looking into an instinct for a trail whip
Sort of an unusual quiver, but it’s ideal for SW Montana. Jeffrey 102’s will be a fun park/fuck around ski and the woody 108’s are more of a daily driver. Jeffrey 110’s just because they are awesome
Looks good to me man. Am a lil thrown by the G3’s on the wrens but otherwise you got a playful/stable do it all, a charger albeit on touring bindings….a gr8 and diverse all mtn resort ski and a pow stick

Those look like RMU’s from the Neversummer factory years. I’ve also got a pair from that era. Pretty solid construction, at least from what I’ve observed
Yeah shop tech was a little confused about that combo. I get into a lot of dicey couloirs and don’t feel so gripped with a solid ski under me. Usually manage a good pace despite the weight

Yea construction is really top notch. I’ve hit many a rock on these and the top sheets, edges and bases all hold up super well. First time I took these into some deep snow I was so hype on them, felt like their place to be
CatdickBojanglesA true classic with classic bindings too. They are worth at least holding onto.
switchlip2If you don’t ski em, atleast put them on a wall
They’re in absolutely fantastic shape. Like no edge cracks or base damage. I just don’t know how much park I’ll realistically ski and I have to get new bindings cause they’re not compatible with GW.
