Should I get Vishnu wets or surface royales

I ski in north east Ohio and I’m looking for a soft playful jibby ski. I was pretty set on the wet but now I’m not sure if theyre gonna be too soft for jumps. I don’t do any massive tricks, the occasional 7 or backflip, and Ohio jumps aren’t too big, but I’m still worried if I land backseat with the wets I’ll wash out on it. Rails are like my favorite and I want a soft easy to butter ski that I can be really creative with. So yeah what do you guys recommend sorry this was long.

the thing about wets is if you land right, you won't wash out. If you land backseat with stiffer skis you won't wash out but it will still be a shitty backseat landing. I switched from wets to some on3ps as my daily ski this year and they definitely perform better at high speeds and are more stable, but they are also wayyy less playful. I busted out my wets on closing day and I was reminded of how playful and fun they are, but also you do have to be conscious of how soft the tip and tail are if you're used to a stiffer ski.

honestly once you get used to the wets I think they're good to go for small and medium jumps.

Yeah I only really land backseat when I’m learning, so that won’t be a huge problem. And yeah we don’t really get jumps over 20 feet here so that sounds fine. Looking like ill

I bought some beat to shit plus’ and ripped them on closing day. It was fine on the jump we had and it was a medium sized jump I’d say. I did notice if I landed backseat I’d wheelie but it was worth it because I was able to throw them around on rails way better than my mags

Heard lots of bad things about surface durability (or complete lack thereof). I ride vishnus, and its basically as pinkcamo said. Sacrifice a bit of stability in exchange for a more playful ski.
