Replying to Is it normal for there to be a barely perceptible bump in the base of your ski where a binding screw goes in?

By barely perceptible its like such a small bump you cant even see it; you can only detect it by running your hand over the base and you can feel a little bump right under one of the binding screws. Its probably like 1/4 of a millimeter tall so its of course not going to cause any perceptibe drag when skiing, but i just wanted to know if this is common or if it could possibly develop into a problem even though it isnt a problem now.
