poles would have floated but were attached to the skis and are definitely ok
skis might be ok given the impact with the lakebed didn't coreshot them or something
boots might be recoverable? depending on if algae grows in the fabric

StuuuuuuuuuuI don't know what I'm talking about so I could definitely be wrong but I could imagine a scenario where none of the actual water in the lake is frozen but the water at the bottom is super cold and the actual lakebed (dirt, sand, whatever it is) stays frozen. Maybe that's what @BigPurpleSkiSuit's lake was doing

Considering temperature increases in the earth as you go down, the lake floor soil would be warmer than the water above it. The water on the surface would be exposed to the cold air. The coldness and eventual freezing happens as a result of the water losing thermal energy as it moves to attempt to achieve equilibrium.

And FYI if anything like dirt or sand is frozen, that is likely because of water in between the particles.
