ericformanI wear my helmet skiing and not whole driving but I’ve always wondered: Do you think wearing a helmet is more valuable while skiing or while driving on i70?
every time I get in the car and take it off I’m like “good, now that I’m done skiing at a moderate pace in control on a soft surface I’ll take off my helmet to sit in a metal box next to other metal boxes moving at 75mph while texting”

dant02Keep it under like 30 driving in ski boots and u will be fine. I live 5 min from my local hill so I’ve always done it in ski boots. It’s just a feeling thing Bc you can’t actually feel ur feet on the pedals. Also picking ur foot up and down comes from ur hip.

ReturnToMonkeyDistance has nothing to do with it??? Pushing the clutch all the way in is impossible with ski boots. It's possible to shift without the clutch but its hard and really bad for your transmission

SuspiciousFishWell, you come off the mountain and realize you left your Rhotos back at home. So you need to snag another bottle from Kum and Go but a quick glance at the mirror and you eyes are basically bleeding. So there you are, in need of some cracked out eye drops to get down I-70 but your going to look like a goober walking in the door cashed out and make it even worse by ONLY buying cracked out eye drops. So you sit there for a min in this shit chicken and egg situation and suddenly see your goggles on the dash. You skied in goggles and your up in the mountains so it natural right??? So you go in with your ski goggles and look 100% more like a goober than if you just rolled in as is with everyone staring at you. Then you grab the Rhotos and a Gatorade to cover your tracks, somehow manage to pay for it and get the hell out of there. Only once the door closes behind you that you realize in your haste you forgot to grab the Rhotos off the counter and there is no way in hell you are going back in there in your ski goggles again so you say 'Fuck it' and swig your Gatorade and bail. Then you get home and realize you had your goggles on the entire ride back and the Rhotos were actually in your glove box under some napkins.
