What are the movie segments that stick in your mind, year after year, not necessarily for a certain trick or line but more for that feeling of speaking directly to what you love most about skiing?

Some of mine over the years:

Few Words - The final segment before the credits
Perfectly captures the feeling of being out with your friends and absolutely slaying. Everyone's having a blast, no one's competing, and you're all just playing with the mountain.

Teddybear Crisis - Dumont
Something about the combination of starting off with his massive air-to-flat but moving on to show the fun, work ethic and effortless style that Dumont always had. It's terrifying and hopeful all at the same time...plus it introduced me to New Order, so there's that.

the regiment when he drops that big mountain line and is screaming with pure joy as he rides out hits hard. he has such a pure love of the sport and that segment is a perfect portrayal of it

Segment from Idea at 28:36, something about the age before smartphones where you dial in to a line that tells you conditions and road closures is nostalgic to my trips out to Utah in the early 2000s as a little kid when I learned to ski powder, and then just the euphoria of deep bottomless pow.

That’s the one. My dislike for him has 0% to do with the quality of his skiing. There is no denying he’s all-time in that regard.
