I'm not even in a rush but not trying to go 0. Also having the understanding of what's around you generally helps. If you want to hike slow, move over and let other people go by. It's not a race but god damn it's annoying to be stuck behind people.

There's a certain people that tend to take their half out of the middle, they will even look at you but not get out of your way as if it's my problem they are there, I like the indian buffets though.

The narrowest spots on the trail are the best for a break or better yet picnic. And then if anyone asks if they can get by you they're clearly a dick.

Then somehow it goes the other way too. I've had it happen multiple times but remember this one at an airport. Ive got a huge snowboard bag, another bag and a backpack. Was leaving for 5 months and bringing my touring gear etc as well.

We're in line to check baggage and shit. I don't feel like picking up all my shit to move 1 or 2 feet forward because the person in front of me moved up slightly.

also I don’t understand why people get mad at others for not moving up, especially since I’m sure he saw all the stuff you had. Like you said 7 people in front of you is still 7 people in front no matter the distance. Like you’ll move up when you have to. Ppl like to have stuff to get mad at ig.
