For general outdoors activities, Verizon is by far the best. This is widely known. Don’t switch.

Thanks, maybe you're right, iys been fine but a month or so ago but my phone keeps freezing and have to optimize every 10 minutes and thinking it's my service.

Yoo Larry king here, can you expand on that?

I have Verizon and have resisted switching cause I seem to have better service than others and I use my phone for work in the city. But I'd never heard that it's better for outdoorsy shit

That's your phone probably.

I use visible, it's unlimited verizon but the service is slower when it's busy, only $25 a month which is a crazy food deal.

It's only when apps are loading it freazes, I can watch videos and pics stored on my phone and it's fine, 25$?

Just do some basic Googling. In the outdoors community it's widely regarded as having more service in more places than any other carrier. AT&T is second. In my personal experience, which is considerable, Verizon has come through in a great many places I've been climbing, hiking, hunting, or adventuring where others who had other carriers had no service. For this reason Verizon has me by the balls. I hate how expensive it is, but as of now there is no alternative.

I used to have Virgin Mobile but now its owned by Boost Mobile. $35 a month. worth it for the price

I switched to Mint ($15/month plan) a couple of years ago and don't regret it (it's on T Mobile's network).

So depends on your needs, but personally I live in an urban area where any carrier will get me decent everyday service, and for outdoor stuff, I have a PLB if I need to get help, beyond that, if I'm outdoors I'm doing stuff and I'm not spending time on my phone anyway.
So is it the best network? Probably not, but it gets the job done. For my personal situation, it's great value, no point in spending 5x more for a marginally better network with another carrier.

Depends on where you live and where you go on a day to day basis. In the west and anywhere rural, verizon is king, but if you live in a city and dont go anywhere remote, the cheapest service is probably the best.

Ironically last night saw a Google Add saying update Android web view to stop apps from freezing so I did and all is better so I guess I'll stuck with consensus and stay with Verizon. I do get cell service in the most bizarre areas in tge cascades wich is always a pleasant surprise.
