Replying to I need new skis: Atomic bc, Armada JJ, or ONEP Billy goat, something else?

Help! I’m riding a pair of Icelandic gypsies right now, and although they’re really fun plowing through powder and crud, and hold up well when I’m scraping down a sheet of ice, they’re just too heavy!

I’ve gained a lot of confidence this year, and I want to try throwing some tricks off of the natural hits I find, and buttering the groomers when I’m riding more in bounds.

The gypsies are just too heavy and too stiff (probably too wide, too) for me to feel like I can really throw them around.


Im 5-11, 180lbs

I want something playful and light that can still hold up on a deep day in the pnw chowder/crud.

the new bent chetlers kinda seem like the perfect ski to me, but I was hoping to get some input from people who have actually ridden some or all of these skis, or who might have some new recommendations.
