blyatfulim just a little bit scared that this ski doesn't provide a good maneuverability. i own a jj ul 185 length but there is like almost 70 cm pure rocker
powpatrolthe ferox has less rocker but you wouldn’t find it cumbersome. 181 length will be much better for you than the 176.
Blackcrows measurements are slightly under anyway so it more like 180
blyatfulappreciate that, thanks alot! will definitely buy the 181
powpatrolYou’ll have a great time :)
blyatfuli hope so :) any thoughts on a goos binding?
powpatrolATK r14 are good, depends on what your wanting out of the ski and binding. I guess your more focused on a tech touring binding than an alpine equivalent?
blyatfuli mean i first thought about a Cast or Duke but theyre so heavy and i talked to a few people which told me that a r14 is a great binding and hold up with even through jumps ans cliffs and so. He only think why i would want a heavier binding is just because of the safety no?
powpatrolYeah generally as safety capabilities increase weight also does. It could be worth having a look at the salomon/atomic/armada shift
blyatfuli don't really know what i should think about this binding. it's quite heavy and lots of peoplr were talking about its pre releases. Seeing Nikolai Schirmer on a G3 Ion 12 or Kristofer on Atk R14 opened up my eyes, why should i buy a heavyweight if even these two can do pretty much everything on a low weight tech binding.
