Help With Rotator Cuff Injury

Depends how bad it is, gotta see a specialist if you think it's serious to get an opinion and or multiple ones. Had mine done in 2017. Partially torn but couldn't lift my arm above my shoulder and the odds of PT working was slim. 3 months in a sling with a bolster and another 3 after that until I felt comfortable skiing. Even to this day though my shoulder rigidity feels weaker. My advice is to see multiple specialists, it's either going to be PT/exercise to regain mobility/strength or surgery.

Pakanakascrewed my shoulder up on a simple 2 pretz 2 didn't spin fast enough on the blind 2 out caught an edge in the snow and ate it right on shoulder. any advice with recovery? I hear that it's very easy to re injure so now I'm pretty worried. Anyone else had this happen?

Yeah do some pt you gotta properly heal and rehab shoulders or else you’ll have no mobility and just more injuries

I tore my rotator cuff, my labrum and broke my tuberosity a few years back on a tomahawk landing. The first thing to know is it will just never be the same. Ever. Shoulder surgery is super iffy and not always successful. The main thing is to keep it strong and stable. I have had really good success with with a combination of Bikram Yoga and lifting. You want to strengthen the muscular structure around the shoulder while keeping it flexible. You can get comfortable but imo it is always going to be a little wonky.
