little1337Doesn't Meeks's new pro model have this same sort of deal? I bet its sick for hitting urban and stuff but I feel like the points where the edge end in the middle might make it more prone to blowing out. I have no idea tho to be fair
That was my thought when I saw the new Meeks model too. The fact that the edge meets the base in 2 places on each side of each ski, right where the skis will generally be sliding, seems like it’ll create more weak points? Definitely interested to see this and ON3Ps ideology behind them. I remember a while back a guy was selling some prototype ONEPs that had that like rockered base underfoot. I shoulda snagged em, but they had normal full wrap edges, but the base underfoot was almost like the tips of the Bent Chetler, to a more extreme degree. I think the idea was that bases flat, you won’t catch or crack your edges, but you could still engage the whole ski when making a turn?
@iggyskier is that something you guys did?
