Anyone have experience buying this stuff off of Alibaba?
Any good experiences or recommendations? I'm trying to shoot for cheapest stuff for a garage-summer setup (yeah garage) since I've had knee issues this season and ill probably be in fucking form this summer.
i bought all the parts to build an off-brand i3 prusia 3d printer for like $100 off of alibaba. surprisingly everything worked out great and printer functioned perfectly, so, pull the trigger?
damn definitely post pics that sounds super sick. For my setup I bought an outdoor artificial grass rug from Home Depot for less than $1 per sqft. its cheaper than astro turf and with a little dish soap gives me almost too much speed.

My roommates and I have talked about building a dry slope this summer, anyone have experience using lattice fencing for speed?

For the drop in I used a plastic gardening fence that’s pretty much the same material as the lattice fencing and it works well when wet but you can’t set an edge in it really so I would only have that on the drop in part then artificial grass for the lip

I did the same thing found the more plasticy the better it works also latice
if you are looking for speed with out much maintenance, i would go with snow fence or the orange construction fence or the white lattice plastic. the white lattice being the fastest, i thinks its abs plastic.
+cheap as hell
+fast
+easy to install (on wood staples, on grass use camping stakes, never tried anchoring it on asphalt)
+no water or soap required, so no mold or wet smell either)
+easy to pack away
-not edgeable, cant scrub off too much speed or do carve in tricks
-ruins the bases of skis. the plastic melt and gets stuck to the base. you need a pair of junker skis for it.
i used to set up an airbag in the park behind my house and we used snow fence on the hill to get speed.
