So glad I don’t follow these guys. But I went and watched the run.
Looks like he comes off early and to the side of the flat rail. Also - he’s doing 12s on first two jumps and a trip 14 on last. His landings aren’t that clean. I imagine people are throwing bigger spins too.
Thats just my two cents. FIS is a lot more strict about that shit, from my understanding

Fuck these kids, bunch of crybabies who still haven’t owned up to their mistakes. The judges probably docked them because they all saw that the fagans didnt actually learn their lesson from their past problems. They deleted their instagram post acknowledging they used racial slurs and haven’t done anything in the public eye to make it seem like they learned their lesson and are apologetic for their behavior. My guess is the judges didn’t like the fact that they still haven’t owned up to their mistakes (probs because their weird parents are telling them it’s political bs and a part of cancel culture and not their own wrong doing) What the judges probably saw was a kid who he never owned up to his racist actions who is attempting to make it to the olympics the pinnacle of his sport. Imaging fagan making it to the olympics and everyone going “hey you see the MULTIPLE videos of fagan dropping the n bomb” like how are these kids still that stupid they think they can go to the olympics after using the hard r on social media multiple times, making a half ass apology and then deleting it after 20 mins. Sure doesn’t sound like they’ve learned their lesson. BLM.

I would be willing to forgive the two of them if they actually seemed to accept responsibility and actually apologize and learn, but until then I hope they don't get any support from brands and Kiernans followers can continue to circle jerk him.

The Olympic committee can have these “qualifications” for the Olympics but at the end of the day they can choose who is and who isn’t on the team. Yea Jesper isn’t henrik especially on jumps. But you can’t deny that a guy who got robbed of a few xgames medals isn’t a elite skier at or around the top of freestyle skiing like his rail prowess for a comp skier or even skier in general is almost unmatched and he’s no slouch on jumps either. Not great on jumps but definitely not bad.

I haven't seen the run and I'm assuming they're overreacting to a legit score, but if they're not then there's something seriously wrong if the judges scored them lower because of they're racist assholes. It's not a ski judge's business to factor in anything other than what they see in the run. Even if they do get first in every qualifier event that in no way means they'll be picked for the Olympic team and they almost certainly wouldn't get picked no matter how well they do simply because they're racist assholes.

Lmao...believe it or not there are plenty of skiers who could put down an equivalent or better run. You probably just haven't heard of them. I don't agree with you at all that it would be ok to judge people poorly just because you don't like them. Don't sponsit them, don't invite them to certain events but this is a ski comp snd if you cant judge it for the skiing you've got nothing.

Fully understand your logic and I agree you don’t want it to get to a point where a judge is misscoring a rider because him and his dad don’t get along or some shit. Im not 100% sure how this comp circuit works but if the point is to score well and make the Olympic team, that’s much different than a rail jam or even FWT. I think making a national team is about more than just your trick bag.
That being said, I wasn’t advocating them getting scored lowly due to off-the-hill actions. I really think, if the underlying message is they aren’t welcome, the US ski team should just tell them that. Maybe they have and the message wasn’t received properly, who knows...
