does this happen? i've skied these like 7 days, and never banged the tail on any park feature or anything. i'm worried cuz snow is getting in there.
Looks like impact to me, maybe from dropping your skis tails first in the parking lot or something. Skis chip, that’s unfortunately inherent in their design. Let the skis dry out, smear some marine epoxy in there and clamp that bitch for a day
yeah that's pretty normal for park sticks. Epoxy and clamp or if you're in a tight fix, duct tape that bitch. Preventative measures like drilling rivets in the tip/tail can also help.

It’s waterproof and flexible! When epoxy is applied to skis it has to bend due to... skiing. The marine stuff is nice because it won’t crack when the skis are bending
