Got some brand new icelantic nomad 95s. Skied 2 days of mellow green runs only (family trip) and when i’m wiping my skis down to try them off I notice what looks like edge separation. Idk if it was there from the beginning and I didn’t notice, or if the limited skiing that I did somehow caused this. But it absolutely was not from impact. It looks to me like the edge and base in that spot were like epoxied together almost. Anyone seen this before or have any advice? Is this how edges and bases are put together in the factory and this small spot just didn’t stick together very well? I’m not going to ski them again, and am working on contacting Icelantic already, but I made the mistake of mounting my bindings before writing down/taking a picture of the serial number, so I can’t yet fill out the warranty form. I’m gearing up for this to be a nightmare but I hope Icelantic is cool and doesn’t give me grief about not knowing what the serial number is, I have the receipts and just bought them 2 weeks ago. Seems kinda silly to put a serial number in a spot where it’s gunna get mounted over.... I’m having a hard time thinking this is the first time this has happened. But yea any comments on if they came out of the factory like this or anything along those lines to help me figure out what happened would be welcome.
