Krotchs_BrotherJokes aside I think you are onto something here. I think we’ve reached a point with saturation of “good skiers” that now more than ever the “vibe” is what matters. It’s what the Line TC guys realized 10 years ago.

When every trick has been done it starts to matter more who’s doing the trick than what the trick is. I think it’s also coinciding with the whole vlog movement of the last decade. People care less what the subject matter is and more about the personality/character.

I mean hell I’m pretty sure my lil bro watches gamers just hangin out with each other on a stream because “they’re chill guys”.

Not saying it’s good or bad, and maybe I’m just rambling incoherently here but I haven’t had coffee yet. Anyways I think you’ll probably see more “personable” content in the future.

ASAPCarterI’ll add that I don’t think anyone watched Trollin just to see Steve Stepp ski the same shit at PC in every edit. We watched for Stephanie, lil Chris, conspiracy theories, waka flocka, the Sony action cam, etc.

No face in any photos, even if there is, they're still wearing a beanie or sunglasses or it's black and white stylized.
The most uninteresting catchy rap tracks on their vids.
Short captions with nothing interesting to say in em.
Never replies to comments.

Impersonal pages and impersonal edits only attracts an impersonal audience.

They just kinda become a commodity you scroll past. Consume for a second and then forget.

Hucking meat and eating shit just to be faceless filler between mediocre skiers and regular people that are actually worth engaging with

IdahoeMaybe this is just me but I feel like I enjoy ski movies/edits a lot more if I can see the skiers face and know know what they look like. I wanna know how stoked they were on landing something hype, or how they act when they aren't skiing, it feels like a vid is so much more memorable if I actually have a personality that I can connect to the skiing I am watching. Seems like a lot of people are trying to copy Candide's whole faceless mysterious skier thing but that only works for him cuz hes so legendary. For everyone else it just makes them forgettable and generic. I think a great example of being able to see a person's face is in Rudy Lepine's NEVERMIND segment, which starts at 9:45
