So they should make this a law for every profession. When someone berates me in the hospital I should be able to fight them right? Jesus, fucking meathead cops can't control their temper so they gotta pass a law..
So fucked...

Bended_ToenailWow, the thread already devolved into stupidity, thanks frenchy!
But yeah that law is BS on so many levels lmao
.frenchyyou're upset because i have a different opinion than you.... lol shut up

Bended_Toenailokay, I'll bite
Your response to a thread about people being against a law inhibiting free speech was "back the blue". Now, I have nothing against this response per se, but I do think it is taking it too far to think of talking badly about the cops as a crime. "Backing the blue" is different than giving them authority to arrest someone if they say something the officer doesn't like.
My response was "Wow, the thread already devolved into stupidity, thanks Frenchy!" which is not getting mad at your opinion necessarily, but rather that I think your other two responses ("I didn't ask" and "you're soft") are stupid.
And for the cherry on top, here is a comment you made on another thread:
"let the people say what they want, fuck censorship unless its illegal (death threats or telling people to kill a certain person)"

270on420outSo much for being pro-freedom
snowfinderHow was this even brought up? Did cops go to law makers and complain citizens were making fun of them and hurting their feelings?
HypeBeastLikely as a result of the summer protests. Don't you remember that famous photo/video of the Kentucky cops destroying the protestor water bottles (aka their property) without cause?
There were hundreds to thousands of incidents where police officers used "less lethal" force on peaceful protesters and caused injury this spring/summer. I saw plenty of incidents were it was cops not being able to control themselves and just lashing out. Sure there were plenty of bad protestors but most were not violent. Any other profession you'd be fired on the spot but in their case, police unions protected them. I support police but I do not support many of the actions I observed this summer. This isn't a blue vs black issue, but rather a freedom of speech issue and also accountability. This is the type of stuff that third world countries get away with and their corrupt departments. Police also need to understand there's accountability for their actions now. People also need to understand that just because a cop injures someone, doesn't mean it wasn't warranted either; so yeah this is me being neutral. It pisses me off when people see a black guy killed and assume it's racism but it also angers me when I see cops acting unprofessionally or physical to a criminal degree but somehow exempt from those force laws or turned a blind eye.
T.L.This is a first amendment infringement. Same with all the buillshit trying to outlaw "hate speech". All speech is legal.
This goes for flag burning too.
I don't agree with all the cult like police hatred, or the flag burning, or the "hate speech" but people people have the right to all of it, just expect to be respected proportionately to your behavior.
