I can’t backflip but you gotta commit because I was this kid at my local go for a backflip and he layed it out but once he got upside down he froze up and landed on his stomach. Sorry not trying to scare you but better over rotate than under rotate
If you can do it on a trampoline, just commit yourself to the exact same movement when you hit a jump. Envision yourself landing into a huge field of power, foam pit, or airbag. Once you get over your head and see where you're going to land, putting the feet down is super easy!
Lead with your hips, keep your head foreword until your feet meet the horizon/line of sight. Let the jump do the work if it has kick, arm swing and pop if it's a park jump or similar.
