ARV 96 and K2 88

What’s good folks!
I’m looking into buying a pair of arv 96 as a complement to my smashed k2 sights 88. I’m using the k2 in the park atm and using them to rail etc as well. But don’t know if it’s worth buying the 96 as a complement or if it’s better going for the arv 106? I live in Sweden and the pow isn’t too hyped here...

Are the sights edges falling out or what just looks like some top sheet damage?

Edges are okay, nothing more. But I’m starting to see some core damage under the top sheet. They still ski good tho but 4th season on them so they are going away pretty soon. Maybe a season left on them

I’d say bring them indoors somewhere warm and dry dry them out and epoxy them then they should be fine. The arv96 would be better for park but that’s not to say the 106 can’t be fun I ski a 106 underfoot all mtn twin as my park ski

Cool will try that! Isn’t the 106 heavy for park tho?

I don’t ski an arv 106 I ski k2 marksman which are same width underfoot so I can’t rly speak in the arv other than the wide ski is still fun in park. How ever the marksman are more heavy when I’ve held them next to the arv106 the shop had and I don’t have any issues with the marksmans weight in park.

ARV 106 would be fun but honestly, I don’t know if you’ll ever put them to use. I’ve skied some fresh snow days up north and a lot here in central Finland (not sure which part of Sweden you’re in) and I’ve found 95 is like perfect. 106 I think would be more heft for not much added benefit. But you’ll get used to it. Now if you are traveling to places like the alps - then yes, get the arv106
