Fuck your jewlery and your teeth. This thread is about gold in its raw form. Im into gold panning and prospecting and I wanna see some gold.

Fresh from the safe deposit box. U found everything in the vials, one is liberty wire gold the black suff is from my geat great aunt who dated a Russian fur trader, its placer gold with sulfur smelling back powder coat of some kind, the nuggets I bought. Had some much bigger nuggets but stupidly sold them, second pic is a liberty wire gold nugget I bought in the 90's

I live in the Kootenays. Mining towns are what made this place. So gold had to be here. I check with the claim registry to make sure there are no placer claims active. Then look for gravel banks and sand. Im still building an inventory of locations

The three vials found with literally 100's of back breaking hours of sluicing, I realized it's way cheaper to buy nuggets, it just wasn't worth my time but I was so addicted. Ironically I just bought a goldmonster 1000 metal detector and will probably get back into panning/sluicing it's so much fun digging around and listening to tge river all day. Can't wait till fall tbh
