Rail is tall and it's sunk into the lip and it's on the shorter side so if you want to end up sliding the whole thing you're going to have to creep in slower. You'll end up sacrificing some pop onto the rail so gotta keep those tips up. The rail slide looked mint af imo, ain't nothing like a fat aired out switch lip on dood

Even on built up lips I still have this problem.

Ahh..judging from vid you really don't have too much pop off the lip, looks like you are relying on the speed riding at switch to hop and float over onto it. Keep practicing on popping off the lip that way you can tone back the speed and slide more. Switch is different though especially on a tall rail vs sliding forward. You have to have more speed to get the clearance onto it depending on the rail, thus sliding less. Trick looked mint

Get a longer rail? I'm terrified of catching my tips on sw lips so I do what you're doing. You could approach it at more of an angle so you can still get your tips onto it but dont go down as far.
