natural for me is right foot forward so to learn front swaps is fine for me to do switch on? might be stupid i just don’t want it to mess with me in the future when i’m learning combos

Ya but a regular front swap is probably easier at first. I’d say try both back to back and then work at the one you were closer on. Then do the other

yeah I think reg front swaps are easier than sw on ones since its harder to get a perfect lock when you go sw on. Learning them reg isn't that bad either its pretty much just an early front 2 you dont really even have to scissor that hard if you rotate your upper body forward and spin around it.

It isn't really a pretzel. You are probably at the point where you can lock a rail without thinking much. The jump from 90 on pretz 2 to front swap pretz 2 is so massive. I struggle to just front swap, land unnatural, lock back in, and come out forward.

Way back in the day I learned front swaps going switch on, was really easy to just keep the momentum going. Did not mess me up to learn normal front swaps after but it is definitely a different technique. Go with what is more comfortable first.

If you learn unnatty swaps, which you should, the pretz swap or spin out is way easier. Key is to learn all the different directions before you get too settled in one because you'll find yourself only ever spinning one way because falling sucks.
