Hey all, I'm in the market for some new skis after destroying my Blends.

Im 5'10 and 175lbs

I ski on the east coast. I would consider myself a fairly agressive skier in the woods and all over the mountain. I pretty regularly ski jumps, and a decent amount of rails.

Skis I've skied:
Line Blends, they were wicked fun to butter, were fun on rails and even carved decently. In the future I don't think I'd go that soft, but I still enjoy buttering around.

RMU apostle 98
Great do everything ski imo, they are stiff, but have enough rocker in the nose to butter, and had chunky edges. Only problem is I snapped the nose.

I'm mostly looking for a ski that can do well all around the mountain while being decently fun at slower speeds. Would also prefer them to be durable. I've been looking at the wide+, reckoner 102, Jeffery 102 and the Wildcat 101. Any suggestions?

I’m on the east coast and I had the Jeffrey 96 this season and loved them. Great in the park and all mountain. I even took em out west and they did alright. Currently have some 102s on the way

Vishnu Wides or wide pluses are the best for you it sounds like. Have you looked at K2 poacher? I have also heard those do well in and out of the park. Just go with your gut tho, all the skis you listed are great option s

Surface Give'r. They're pretty similar specs to the blends and around the same flex. I ski NH and they're great. I ski a lot of rails and they're holding up pretty good other than a few edge cracks. Make sure you look into the 2021 models because they have the metal tip and tail caps. I have the 2020 and both tips started to split because of the full wrap edge coming together on the front of the tip

The Snipers and Upper from Surface could also be some other options. I have yet to ski the Snipers but they feel a bit stiffer compared to the Give'rs. The Uppers are also 105 and stiffer and are more all-mtn focused with park capability

I love the Faction Prodigy 1.0. Faction has a bad rep for durability because of the CT series, but I've been using the same pair of prodigies for ~100 days at this point with pretty heavy rail use, also some urban and grass skiing. They have some edge cracks and a slight edge compression from hitting the end of a rail, but no edge tear outs or other problems so far.
I find they are a great 1 ski quiver for the east coast. They float decently well and carve nicely. They're fairly stiff, but the rocker facilitates butters.

I ended up finding a sweet deal on the James Dean reckoner 102s and ordered those.

first day no my nomad 95s and these thigs are fire. Super light, easy to toss, had me slashing through like 6 inches of snow nicely. didnt take them in tha park yet but can tell that these are the kind of skis that I was looking for. Very happy customer from first impression.

I can't figure out how to make a post on here... but I am in the same boat, I have some relatively stiff skis but want to get into buttering. I was learning towards the new line blend. I am trying to get more into park but for the most part do all mountain and freestyle. Is the line blend a good ski for this? I want stability still but really want to get good at those butters. What are everyone's recommendations?

I got the reckoner 102s after snapping my blends and they are easy to butter still, but it's accomplished in a different way. It's way more stable on landings and better all mountain.
