Replying to Who here uses an avy bag?

More just a question out of curiosity, and obviously having one doesn't make up for a lack of training in backcountry training and knowledge of your other equipment, but who here actually goes out into the back/side country with an avy bag?
I'm starting to put my kit together for this season, and up until now haven't taken one out with me (in Australia the avalanche risk isn't massive, and the volume of snow is much less likely to end up burying you so I rely on smart mates who know how to use their beacons and my own risk assessment), but I'm thinking it might be time to invest. Or, anyone here use like an avalung and find it's a pretty good alternative?
