Where is this and why the long walk/hike?

Thats a sick cliff to land on park skis too, I've gotten bucked forward trying to land in pow on my chronics

Thats a sick cliff to land on park skis too, I've gotten bucked forward trying to land in pow on my chronics

US/Canada border. Long walk to get to this spot no matter what, then we got exhausted after we spent 3km walking thru 4” of untouched snow(apparently no one had made it to that section of trail this winter), so we decided to hike the sled trail around the mountain instead of up and over. That trail wasnt on our map and added 8km to the planned distance.
