Skis with flat camber

What skis were they? There are a lot of skis with relatively little camber to where it’s almost no camber. I can notice a big difference between the last pair of skis I had and current because of this.

This weekend I tried my first ski with flat camber, and to be it seemed a perfect
mix of surfyness with a bit of edge grip. Why isnt this more used by producers?

I would like some tips for ski models with flat camber.

You're just never going to get a lot of pop with any ski that has no camber, not that it's a bad thing but it depends on your preference. Flat underfoot skis tend to have a damp feel even if their make-up isn't designed to be damp as well.

Yeah I agree, I like the energy that camber has from turn to turn. If you like to ski loose and find yourself in tight spaces it’s awesome. Flat camber is tough to find, reverse camber is definitely not super rare though. Off the top of my head, the Faction CT 5.0 is the only one I can think of. The Moment Meridian, Black Crows Nocta, Volkl BMT series would all be good examples of reverse camber but again, that’s different

Crows daemon and Corvus are flat and while the Corvus is a medium heavy, damp, smooth and stiff plank it’s very easy to pivot, slash and release the tails, carves very well on all but ice, basically 0 pop, the daemons very similar. That said, the reason I think we don’t see more of it is bc it’s kinda a niche thing, and for steep, and even tight chutes, I prefer a good bit o camber whether it’s icy or pow, the flat camber and rocker feels best in some pow and really benefits in heavy wet cement.
