EvanMeyerEh I think it depends, I’ve seen videos of a gymnast from either Japan or maybe China that was basically just put on snow to learn tricks for the olympics and it looked like they never made a single turn in their life before.
nelesonYe I mean sure it is true in some cases, it just tends to be people who cant ski park well getting buthurt and talking shit about ski technique (not saying its not important) most of the time atleast in my experience.

With an age of about 18 years he just decided that alpine skiing isn't fun anymore and two years later he won slopestyle gold in world champs at Kreischberg. Don't get me wrong I don't like his style too but saying that hes not good at skiing is just bullshit. Hes one of the most talented skiers out there becoming a pro skier in about 2-3 years is just insane, although his style isnt very pleasant...

BLandz_Imo style is the most imprtant thing in all action sports because were at the point where insane tricks are everywhere and we see them in abundance. Anybody in 2021 can hit a tramp park and learn dubs or build a rail setup in their yard and lace nuts rail tricks so imo style is the most imprtant thing because it makes u look the coolest and its way less common to see than insane tricks. However with that being said not everybody has dope style and honestly theres nothing wrong with that. The problem I have with ppl isnt them having bad style its them trying so hard to have style that they end up looking cringe. Just be yourself. Style. No style. Just don’t be some weird loser who tries way too hard and looks cringe.
Style is mostly a reflection of personality and not everybody is a stylish person so they wont have it on skis. In that case. Fuck it bro. Sends quads and shit and progress the sport. Nothing wrong with that, its just not necessarily the “cool” thing to do.
Dont roast all ppl who don’t have style. Roast ppl who deserve to be roasted for being cringe about it
