BradFiAusNzCoCaAre you thinking of OG Chronics or something?
pinkcamo1000I remember my 04/05 chronics were pretty soft
BradFiAusNzCoCaWasn’t there a period where they were just pure camber, stiff planks?
I remember a guy I worked with had 2009 line blends and I was shocked at how stiff they were compared to the current ones

BradFiAusNzCoCaI just picked up some Chronics. I did a few nollies so far, no problem. They wouldn’t be my first pick for purely focusing on buttering but they can do it. I’ve pulled one or two quick butters on them but I’ve only ridden them for about 3 hours so far.
The one thing that sticks out to me about them is the pop. Generous pop (at least compared to my last skis)
Fancy_LatteDid they entirely change the ski this season or is this guy just clueless lol?
OP I rode last years... Very fun/wide for buttering, but I would still avoid due to durability. Didn't last me long from mellow riding.... checkout armada or something
