so i just found out i have an edge crack, idk how long it’s been there
if it’s been there a long time should i be worried about the core at all and also how tf do i fix the crack

skiP.E.I.There's not much you can do at all, and it won't affect your ski much. There's a fair amount of material between the core and the edge. Just keep tabs on it, so if the edge starts pulling out you can file it down to stop it from catching while you ski. If you're hitting rails regularly, edge cracks will naturally proliferate until pieces of edge start to fall out. Depending on the flange that holds the edge in the ski, it might fall out in small pieces (if the flange is perforated or toothy i.e. Faction, Liberty) or it might tear out in large pieces at a time (if the flange is flat/smooth i.e. Head, 4Frnt)
